To meet the high quality standards in the production of displays the demand for premium inspection equipment continues to grows. We have developed and produced for our customers an extremely intensive and homogenous line illumination based on the simultaneous use of fiberoptic and LED technology. The lightlines reach lengths of up to 4 meters and are designed for either brightfield or darkfield applications. The closed-loop liquid cooling provides the reliability of these high-performance lighting systems.

Volpi delivers frameless and cascadable LED backlights to the mobile phone industry. The LED Quatros can be individually merged to bigger backlights. In industry these small devices are used in mobile phone testers.

Integrated Vision and Colour Measurement System for Tube and Can Inspection. Through use of a fiber-optic sensor system developed by Zind and Volpi, the printing patterns on spray cans and tubes can be monitored during the production process.

Volpi has developed a dedicated LED ringlight for the 100% optical inspection of contact lenses.

The modular design of the Power Lightline with its built-in control electronics permits an optimized, individually adjustable illumination intensity profile across the entire length of the line in 33mm (1.3”) segments via an Ethernet interface.
