Fiber Randomizing

The mechanical arrangement of the fibers within a light guide makes it possible for us to achieve a highly uniform fiber mixture. As a result, an irregular light input can be converted into a homogenous output. The mechanical mixture makes it possible to increase quality with lower manufacturing costs.

An unmixed bundle of fibers does not necessarily mean inferior quality. Unmixed fiber optics can also transmit picture information along with the light.
