UV LEDs are available in a wide range of wavelengths. Volpi has significant experience in pushing limits of using all available spectrum resources.
Fluorescence occurs when light of a visible color is emitted from an object or substance that has absorbed light (or other electromagnetic radiation) of a different wavelength. For example: when light in the UV region of the spectrum which is invisible, is absorbed and the emitted light is in the visible region.
The following pictures show absorption of light at various wavelengths.
