Standard Service/RMA Policy
Volpi USA Standard Warranty period will be limited to workmanship and presentation of finished assembly and specifications provided FOB Auburn, NY.
In consideration of concealed damage or loss from transit, all claims for loss and or damage must be filed within 14 days of receipt of delivery.
Defects, failures, and or false readings must demonstrate results contrary to readings provided with each assembly and will be provided to Volpi USA Quality Assurance for preliminary evaluation prior to the issuance of Return Material Authorization Numbers.
Upon receipt of units returned as a result of faulty sub-assemblies, a service fee set at $115.00 per hour will be assessed for not less than (5) hours to cover the costs associated with the dismantle, re-installation, and re-testing of each returned unit. Any repair over (5) hours will be quoted to the Customer prior to the completion of the repair. All costs associated with shipping and handling of defective sub-assemblies to & from original manufacturers will be included unless expedited freight is requested by the Customer – whereby additional freight costs will be added to the Repair and Service invoice. All requests for expedited freight must be in writing and received prior to the return of materials to manufacturers.
Defects, failures and or false readings incurred on units outside the standard manufacturer’s warranty periods of 12-18 months (dependent on component) will be considered and quoted to Customers prior to issuance of Return Material Authorization Numbers.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Parties, all other Volpi USA Terms and Conditions apply.
